GIVING US PROOF Proving your identity is simple. Each applicant just needs to show us a couple of copied documents containing your name and address. We will make a record of the details. The type of documents we accept are common to most people, so you shouldn't have any difficulty producing at least two of them.

Recent systems-generated or signed documentation from a regulated financial services sector firm indicating that the account / investment / insurance relationship exists and which contains your address. Current local authority tax bill.
Current local council rent card or tenancy agreement.
Recent utility bill, utility statement or certificate from a supplier of utilities confirming the arrangement to pay for the services on pre-payment terms (includes land line telephone/land line cable company bills, but excludes all mobile telephone bills).
Current benefits book or original notification letter confirming your right to benefits or state pension.
Current known housing association tenancy agreement or rent card.

The security steps we take when opening your account are a legal requirement, and if you can't give us satisfactory proof of your identity, we're not allowed to open an account for you.
Please remember the security checks are also for your own protection and we hope they will also give you peace of mind.
Q: What do I need to get a 4CashNow Secured Loan?
A: You must be a homeowner and mortgage payer, and have a regular income and an active UK bank account with a Debit Card.
Q: I have been turned down for credit because I have a poor credit history - does this stop me from getting a 4CashNow secured loan?
A: No. However we need to be happy that all our customers have sufficient funds to be able to afford the monthly repayments.
Q: What if I get paid weekly?
A: No problem at all.
Q: I'm a tenant - is this a problem?
A: We are unable to give secured loans to tenants.
Q: Do you contact current or former employers?
A: No, we operate a strict confidentiality policy. None of your personal information will be passed onto any third party without your prior agreement or unless required by law.
Q: I have a CCJ and arrears - would this disqualify me from receiving a secured loan?
A: No problem! Unlike many other financial institutions, we do not require that you have good credit. If you have any questions about qualifying for a 4CashNow secured loan, please contact us.
Q: What if I am based outside the UK?
A: Providing the property is located here in the UK and you maintain a UK bank account - No problem!
Q: How do you determine the amount of money to advance me?
A: Affordability – this means that we, 4CashNow Secured Loans, act at all times as responsible lenders. Our main concern is that you can afford the monthly repayments and that they are set at a reasonable level to reflect and take account of your income and outgoings to ensure that you will not take on a financial commitment that you will be unable to meet.
Q: Can I have the funds placed in a 3rd party account?
A: Joint account with your spouse/partner - No Problem.
Another account in your name - No Problem.
Q: Debit Card mandate form (with your debit card details).
A: We are unable to provide a loan without this document, completed by you.
Q: Direct Debit mandate form (with your bank account details).
A: We are unable to provide a loan without this document, completed by you.
Q: How do I repay the loan?
A: We will collect the money by direct debit and/or via your debit card.
Q: How do we determine repayment dates?
A: It is normal practice to collect the monies due on your payday for your convenience.
Q: What is an A.P.R.?
A: An A.P.R is the Annualised Percentage Rate of your payday loan.
Q: Can I pay my loan back early?
A: 4CashNow Secured Loans are governed by the Consumer Credit Act. Early payment of regulated loans will incur an early settlement charge of 1 month’s interest if one months written notice is given, otherwise two months interest will be charged.
Q: Can I fax the Loan Agreement to you?
A: NO. We require original signatures.
Q: Can I scan and email the Loan Agreement to you?
A: Yes.
Q: How can I guarantee my documents will get to you the next day?
A: Go to your local Post Office and send the documents by Special Delivery.
Q: How much can I borrow?
A: This will depend upon your income and the amount of equity within your property. Loan amounts are available from £3,500 to £25,000.
Q: Over what period of time can I spread my loan?
A: This is usually entirely up to you, the Loan Calculator may help you decide. Generally loans are available over 12 to 60 months.
Q: Are fixed interest rates available?
A: On all our loans the interest rate is fixed. You will never pay more than the monthly amounts stated on your loan agreement.
Q: Can you offer a scheme whereby my repayments can be made if I am ill or made redundant?
A: No, however there are companies that can offer an optional accident, sickness and redundancy package for your peace of mind.
Q: What APR will I be charged?
A: This will depend on your financial status, employment history, available equity and other related factors.
Our typical variable rate is 26.5% APR.
The majority of our customers get a rate lower than this.
Our rates range from 19.6% to 41.9% absolute maximum. Therefore the majority of our borrowers are offered a lower rate than our typical APR.
Please note that you can spread your payments from 1 to 5 years to suit yourself. All loans can be repaid at any time.

Q: Is the application confidential?
A: Absolutely. Your loan application is treated in the strictest confidence. We will not contact your employers, bank or any other third party without your prior permission.
Q: Are any restrictions placed on how I can spend the money?
A: No, you can use the money for almost any purpose. Perhaps you want to pay off all your higher rate credit leaving you with just one manageable monthly payment. Alternatively you may wish to carry out home improvements, purchase a car, caravan, boat, conservatory or perhaps take a holiday!
Q: What if I want to move house?
A: Simply pay the outstanding loan balance from the proceeds of the sale or alternatively we may be able to transfer the loan to your new property.
Q: What if I want to borrow more in the future?
A: Simply telephone our office and we will gladly supply you with a quotation for a further advance.
Q: How long will the loan take to arrange?
A: We try and complete everything within two weeks; however that depends upon a number of factors including how quickly you can supply us with the documentation required to complete your loan.
Q: What if my circumstances change - or if I have other questions?
A: You can speak to our trained staff at any time. They are experienced in helping homeowners like yourself.
Q: Is it safe to apply on line and will the personal details I provide be secure?
A: Our web site employs the latest 128 bit encryption technology; therefore your details cannot be viewed by any unauthorised third party.
The Loan Agreement
Upon completion of the application, and if approved, you will get by return email a Loan Agreement which broadly details:
The amount which we are prepared to lend you
The APR
Term of the loan
Fixed monthly payments which will include interest and capital over the
term of the loan
Our terms and conditions
We cannot process you loan without this provisional Loan Agreement being returned to us signed by all parties.
Why do we require the Mortgagee Letter?
Upon completion of the application, and if approved, you will get by return email a template letter to your Mortgagee .
We have to notify your current mortgagees that we intend taking a second charge on your property, and we also have to ascertain the current amount owing to them. We cannot proceed with your application without this document being signed by the mortgagees and returned. If the mortgage is in joint names, both names individuals have to sign.
Why do we require a bank statement and pay slip?
As a responsible lender, we have to verify your income status. Without receiving these documents, we cannot proceed with your application.
Why does the building insurance certificate have to be provided, and what if I cannot locate this certificate?
A requirement of the loan is that you have buildings insurance. A bank statement showing insurance payments is sufficient.
